Does the assistant hand off to human support?
Yes. Handoff is designed into every deployment — with the AI passing along the customer's message, retrieval context, and its own attempts so the human doesn't start from scratch.
How do you prevent hallucinations?
Retrieval-first architecture, hard citation requirements in the generation prompt, and weekly evaluation against a growing golden-answer set. Fully preventing hallucinations is impossible; keeping them below a threshold is engineering.
